Hail does not fall evenly. Two houses on the same street can have very different seasons. This page publishes the verified hail dates for each Colorado city we work in, measured on that city's own boundary rather than averaged across the metro.

The 2026 Colorado hail season
Aurora took six separate hail dates between June 1 and August 15 2026, three of them inside the final seventy two hours. Counts differ by city because swaths differ by city, which is exactly why a per address answer beats a regional headline.

How these dates are measured
How do you know which hail dates crossed my address?
The dates come from radar derived hail swath polygons for each storm. We check your address as a point inside or outside each swath, rather than reading off a regional average. That is why two homes a mile apart can have different answers.
Why does the number of hail dates change from city to city?
Hail swaths are narrow. A date count is a property of the area you measure, not of the whole metro. Aurora city limits returned six dates for 2026. A wider Denver metro box over the same window returned eleven, and a box stretching to Fort Morgan returned twenty one. We measure each city on its own boundary and say so.
Does a hail date mean my roof is damaged?
No. It means impact was possible at that address on that day. Hail size, wind direction, roof age and material all change the outcome. Only an inspection confirms whether anything actually happened to your roof.
How often is this page updated?
Each season, on this same address. Past seasons stay published underneath the current one, so the record builds rather than being replaced.
